VEND101 Verification

Build trust before you Vend.

VEND101 Verified is earned through evidence and operating history—not self-declared badges. Business verification helps Buyers, affiliates, and Vending Channels understand who stands behind each Opportunity.

A standard business verification package includes business identity review, photo and video evidence, two references, and other documentation when your category, limits, or activity require it.

Business verification requirements

Submit a complete package so review can move quickly. Incomplete applications—missing references, outdated media, or mismatched business records—are the most common cause of delays.

Business verification

Confirm who operates on VEND101, where the business is based, and that submitted details match official records.

  • Legal business name and operating name (if different)
  • Business registration or incorporation details
  • Tax identification where applicable
  • Business address and operating location
  • Ownership and authorized representatives
  • Business category, products, and SKUs under review
  • Contact information for verification follow-up
  • Payment and settlement information (handled securely; sensitive fields masked at rest)

Photo & video evidence

Show us the real operation behind your Opportunities—premises, inventory, fulfillment, or on-site activity as applicable to your business.

  • Photos of business premises, storefront, kitchen, warehouse, or workspace (as relevant)
  • Photos of products, packaging, or inventory you plan to offer
  • Short video walkthrough of operating location or fulfillment setup when requested
  • Video or photo evidence of prior events, pop-ups, or commercial activity when applicable
  • Media must be current, clearly attributable to your business, and free of misleading edits

Format and quantity may vary by category. VEND101 may request additional captures during review.

Two references

Provide two independent references who can speak to your business, operating history, or commercial reliability.

  • Two separate reference contacts (not the same individual or entity twice)
  • Name, role, organization, email, and phone for each reference
  • Relationship to your business (supplier, landlord, partner, accountant, etc.)
  • Permission for VEND101 to contact references for verification purposes
  • References should be reachable and able to confirm substantive details about your operation

Personal references alone may not satisfy requirements for higher limits or regulated categories.

Other documentation

Depending on your plan, category, location, Pre-Buy limits, or Vending activity, VEND101 may require further documents.

  • Licenses or permits (food service, alcohol, health, resale, etc.)
  • Insurance certificates or proof of coverage
  • Bank or financial statements for limit increases
  • Supplier agreements, invoices, or purchase orders
  • Lease, utility bill, or proof of business address
  • Product compliance, labeling, or safety documentation
  • Signed attestations or platform compliance forms
  • Any other evidence needed to complete risk or eligibility review

You will be notified in your Business account if additional documentation is required.

When verification is required

Not every action needs full verification on day one—but many growth paths do. Common triggers include:

  • First-time Business accounts publishing live Vending Opportunities
  • Higher Pre-Buy contract limits or plan upgrades
  • Certain product categories (food, health, regulated goods, etc.)
  • Multi-location or multi-team operations
  • Vending Channel partnerships and settlement setup
  • Affiliate programs above standard plan limits
  • Unusual transaction patterns or platform risk signals

Verification fee

From $59

Fees depend on business type, jurisdiction, and scope of review. See pricing for plan context and optional services.

How verification works

  1. Step 1

    Start your Business account

Complete onboarding with accurate business and contact details.

  2. Step 2

    Submit verification package

Upload business records, photo and video evidence, two references, and any requested documents.

  3. Step 3

    Review & follow-up

VEND101 may contact you or your references. Respond promptly to avoid delays.

  4. Step 4

    Outcome & limits

Approved verification may unlock VEND101 Verified display and applicable platform limits. Some requests may be declined or require more evidence.

Successful verification may allow your Business profile to display applicable VEND101 Verified status. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of performance, credit rating, or guarantee of any Opportunity.

Channels & Buyers

Vending Channels

Channels verify entity details, geography, capacity, settlement account, reserve policy, and POS mode. New channels start with controlled limits until performance history supports higher capacity.

Buyers

Minimal onboarding by default. Additional identity or payment checks apply based on jurisdiction, purchase value, and platform risk requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is business verification included in my plan setup fee?

Basic onboarding checks may be part of account creation. Full business verification for marketplace trust, higher limits, or certain categories is a separate review and may carry a fee starting from $59.

Why do you need photo and video evidence?

Evidence helps confirm that a real business stands behind each Opportunity—especially for Buyers, affiliates, and Vending Channels evaluating where inventory will be fulfilled.

Who can I list as a reference?

Commercial references work best: suppliers, landlords, partners, accountants, or others who know your operation. Two distinct contacts are required.

What if I cannot provide every document immediately?

Submit what you have and note gaps in your application. VEND101 will tell you if additional documentation is required before approval.

Does verification guarantee my Opportunity will succeed?

No. Verification confirms eligibility and identity review—it is not an endorsement, investment recommendation, credit rating, or guarantee of sales or performance.
